Corvina REX did not want to miss Sirha latest edition, a biennial tradeshow that brings together the main companies linked to the catering sector throughout Europe.
With nearly 3,000 exhibitors and brands from more than one hundred countries, the event has gathered in Lyon (France) more than 200,000 professionals during five intense days in which more than a thousand daily demonstrations were carried out.
Some important figures for what is defined as a show that “inspires” gastronomic professionals.
Thus, the visit has been of great interest for Frescamar, both to learn about the sector’s novelties and to visit some of its main clients to share impressions about market trends.
After this Tradeshow experience, the aquaculture company, through its flagship product, is evaluating the possibility of participating in some of the activities of such extensive program for next edition.

Activities inside and outside the facility
The show has more than 150,000 square meters of surface where the latest in food products plus equipment and services related to food service, hospitality, catering and restaurant business can be found.
But in spite of this great extension, the spirit of the show has gone beyond the fairgrounds to flood the city with food trucks and gastronomic activities of all kinds.
Additionally, the meeting hosts some of the most important worldwide culinary competitions such as the Bocuse d’Or, with more than thirty years of history, the Pastry World Cup or the International Catering Cup.
