FRESCAMAR cooperates with the 3rd edition of the Burriana’s Cursa de la Dona

Frescamar Alimentación did not hesitate to contribute with its bit to the solidary initiative undertaken by the Burriana City Council in favor of Le Cadó Foundation.

A popular walk that this year has celebrated its third edition and in which Frescamar has been present with its flagship product, Corvina REX, offering it as a snack to the participants after the circuit.

More than a thousand people wearing a pink T-shirt, designed by Ripollés plastic artist, have completed the 5 kilometers of this “Cursa de la Dona” whose benefits go to the breast cancer research project of the Provincial Hospital of Castellón.

In addition, the amount collected exceeded 4,300 euros thanks to both the participants registrations and the contributions of collaborating companies such as Frescamar.

The company’s breeding facilities located in the open sea, as well as its processing plant, are located in Burriana, where several species of white fish are farmed and processed, including CORVINA which Frescamar commercializes under the brand name REX.

This species has been the protagonist of the post-finish provisioning that has been offered in the form of pasty thanks to the collaboration of the chef Kike Peris of the restaurant Randurías from Jérica, who perfectly knows the product and is able to enhance its qualities better than anyone.

The Mayor of Burriana, Maria Josep Safont, the town Councilwoman for Equality, María Romero, and other councilors such as Cristina Rius or Maribel Martínez, participated in the walk that started in the Municipal Pool and reached the maritime area returning through the road of the Port.

Municipal representatives have highlighted “the strength and desire of the women of our city to lead any social environment of Borriana, just as in this case, in which sports and solidarity merge together to achieve such a multitudinous participation“.

Managers and workers of collaborating companies such as Frescamar alsowent along the 5 kilometers of this popular walk in which, far from competing, they all have been winners for their solidarity.
